Conexant Investing US$250 Mln in India Ops

US communications chip maker Conexant recently announced that it will invest US$250 million in its India operations over the coming five years. The company will particularly focus on increasing the number of local engineers in its R&D workforce in the country. Currently, the company employs 775 local engineers, and it wants to boost this number to 2,000 within the next five years.
